Some venues discourage the use of "smoke machines", however, we use a variant of the smoke machine called a 'Hazer'. This is a more subtle effect and pumps a water based mixture into the air and allows both light beams and lasers in particular, to be seen, creating a more dramatic atmosphere. More especially, and since the introduction of the UK smoking ban which previously created a natural 'haze', we feel this is a necessary part of our show. In this respect, as with other specific requests made at the point of booking, we will discuss the requirements with venues individually.

There have been some unnecessary concerns regarding asthmatics and smoke/haze; to put your mind at rest, smoke and haze fluids are simply a mixture of glycol and water which are passed through a heating element. An internet search will reveal evidence that confirms it is completely safe for asthmatics, along with supplementary advice. All we can say is that we have NEVER seen an asthmatic have an adverse effect to it.
